Abstract

Based on the importance of cognitive activation for teaching and the challenges for teachers to conduct cognitively activating conversations, the article presents a project that aims to sensitise prospective primary school teachers to cognitively activating conversations in mathematics lessons through digital self-study units with digital dialogue simulations.
