Mathematische Lernangebote der Digitalen Drehtür Hessen

Abstract

The paper describes the implementation of the Digitale Drehtür (digital Revolving Door) at the Justus Liebig University Giessen in mathematics. It is a digital enrichment programme for learners with a specific interests that can be used throughout Germany. Schools can register and use the programme free of charge. It is described how the digital learning programmes in mathematics on the Digitale Drehtür Campus are designed and which didactic principles were taken into account. Accompanying research into the construction of potential mathematical giftedness in school environments was also carried out. An insight into this research is provided through the description of a learner project on the topic of ‘Tessellation’ for the corresponding learning programme of the Digitale Drehtür Campus from the Maths Laboratory. Finally, an outlook is given for the third funding phase from June 2025.
